psychopy-mri-emulator
*********************

`psychopy-mri-emulator` used to be a `module <https://psychopy.org/_modules/psychopy_mri_emulator/emulator.html>`_ within PsychoPy's core functionality, but has been migrated to `PsychoPy's plugin system <https://psychopy.org/usingplugins.html>`_ for PsychoPy's newer versions. Please make sure that your old codes that utilised this module are compatible with the newer versions.

.. important:: 
    For PsychoPy version newer than `2024.1.0` it is recommended that you install psychopy-mri-emulator via the plugins and packages manager in Builder.

`LaunchScan` Troubleshooting
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

`LaunchScan` is a function in `psychopy-mri-emulator` that launches an fMRI experiment upon receiving either the first scan pulse generated by an MRI machine ("Scan" mode) or a key press coming from a computer ("Test" mode).
